Star Wars: The Old Republic Debuts in UK in Tenth Place

According to GFK ChartTrack, which tallies the sales figures within the United Kingdom, Star Wars: The Old Republicthe only game that really mattered in the last two weeksdebuted in tenth place in the week ending in December 24th, 2011. So while this doesn't include the figures in after-Christmas sales, it's a strong indicator of holiday rush sales (at least, for those who didn't forget getting Christmas gifts).

Unsurprisingly, FIFA 12 took the top spot, with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim took an arrow to the knee fell to ninth place, while Modern Warfare 3 and Just Dance 3 took #2 and #3. Battlefield 3 wasn't far behind its FPS competitor in the fourth spot. Star Wars: The Old Republic wasn't able to conquer Mario & Sonic's obvious pandering to the London base.

However, these numbers don't include digital sales, so those for Star Wars: The Old Republic is likely much, much higher than they actually are.
