Rumor: Black Ops 2 Coming To Wii U

While the news should hardly come as a surprise, it looks like Treyarch's upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be headed to the Wii U. In the latest issue of Nintendo Gamer magazine, a version for Nintendo's console was outed via a full-length preview of the game. Interestingly enough, a November release date for the Wii U version was included in the article, alluding to the fact that not only will the console will launch by that time, but that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions won't be beating Nintendo's to the punch. This could be a huge win for the company, especially if added tablet functionality puts the Wii U version ahead of the competition.

Still, this report must remain a rumor, as both Nintendo and Activision have yet to make any announcements regarding a Wii U version of the game. You'd think that this would be something Nintendo would have highlighted at their press conference. Then again, we are talking about Nintendo… a company that wasted far too much time on an upcoming mini-game collection dubbed NintendoLand.
