The Viking-Like Norscans Are Coming to Total War: Warhammer

Shortly after debuting gameplay of the High Elves, Creative Assembly has confirmed that it’s adding a new playable race to Total War: Warhammer ahead of Total War: Warhammer 2‘s release later this year.

This time around the Norscans are being added as part of the Norsca Race Pack. This barbaric tribe thrives in the winter cold, hailing from the Realm of Chaos to the North where they serve the dark gods. Equipped with fur, spikes, axes, beards, and a thirst for battle, this race is known by Warhammer fans for being the Viking race of the fantasy universe.

Arriving on August 10th, the Norsca Race Pack will provide new territory to conquer, unique missions, and two tribes at the price point of $9.99. However, those who pre-order Total War: Warhammer 2 will gain access to the package at no cost.

The news was accompanied with a cinematic trailer, which can be seen below:

Although this DLC is specifically for Total War: Warhammer, there’s a chance that the Norscans will be added to Total War: Warhammer 2 during post-release.

The Norsca Race Pack will release on August 10th exclusively for PC.
