Ubisoft And Techland Call-ing For More Of Juarez

Rumors are circulating about Ubisoft announcing a new game tomorrow. After some digging, it's looking more and more likely to be a new Call of Juarez game.

It started with a product manager at Ubisoft Paris tweeting about a new game announcement, which a PR director for Techland followed up with by tweeting "True story!"

Techland produced the last Call of Juarez game for Ubisoft, Call of Juarez: The Cartel, which released in 2011 to sub-par sales and reviews.

Further evidence was discovered to back up the speculation, when the Call of Juarez Facebook page was updated with the header image at the top of this article.

I'm not sure why Ubisoft continues to try and try again with the series after having minimal success in the past. Even just this past week, I was in GameStop taking advantage of a trade-in deal they have going, and two kids in line were talking about The Cartel. One kid says to the other, "Hey, is this like Call of Duty – just a Western?" To which the other kid replied, "No, not at all. That's a baaaaaaad game."
