First Footage Of Notch’s New Game Hits The Web

Coming fresh off the success of Minecraft, game developer Markus "Notch" Persson has begun work on a brand-new title, dubbed 0x10c. Just rolls right of the tongue, no?

When Persson first revealed the game back in April, he described it as being a space title in which "each ship has a generator capable of producing a fixed wattage, and everything you connect to it drains wattage. A cloaking field, for example, might require almost all the power from the generator, forcing you to turn off all computers and dim all lights in order to successfully cloak."

Since the game's original announcement, Notch has released actual footage of the title in action, which you can check out above. Mind you, it is still in the early stages of development, so don't be too quick to cast judgement. That said, let us know what you think of the lighting engine and how the game is shaping up overall in the comments below.
