Call of Duty Defeated, Minecraft Wins

Minecraft Style!

According to the Xbox LIVE Activity for the week of October 15, as provided by Major Nelson, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has effectively dug a hole into Call of Duty and now sits at the top of the heap. I'm not sure whether it has beaten Call of Duty as a franchise since both Modern Warfare 3 (#2) and Black Ops (#4) are on the list, but let's not make light of this momentous achievement.

It's even more popular than Borderlands 2, Halo: Reach, and FIFA Soccer 13. What this says about the triumph of the indie developer (is Mojang sitll considered indie now that it's raking in so much money?) is immense.

Which begs the question: What are you guys doing in Minecraft right now, anyway?
