Halo Fest Coming to PAX Prime 2011

It's time for PAX Prime 2011 Attendees to brush off their cardboard Master Chief suits and get ready to party down. To celebrate 10 years of sticky grenades and tea bagging there's going to be a huge Halo party in Seattle, WA. during Penny Arcades annual expo. So far, all we know is that your PAX badge will get you in, but after attending a few Microsoft sponsored bashes myself, I can guarantee that this is going to be one hell of a bash:

If you call yourself a Halo fan, this is the year to attend PAX Prime! With a PAX Prime badge, fans gain admission to Halo Fest, the largest and most expansive live Halo experience ever. Packed with tournaments, exclusive panels, and sweet prizes, Halo Fest is the place to be for Halo fans attending PAX Prime 2011.

This event commemorates ten incredible years of Halo, looking back at the amazing stories that forged a diverse community and redefined gaming for two entire console generations. Join us August 26th-28th, at the Washington State Convention Center, and see why the last ten years of Halo were just the beginning.

That last line makes it sound like we'll getting some sort of announcement at the event as well. Could it be the long rumored Halo Kinect game? Or perhaps it will be something about the supposed re-launch of the series. Either way I'm extremely happy that I'll be going to Seattle in September to find out for myself. More news should be coming via the Halo: Waypoint soon, so we'll keep you posted as we find out more.
