Rage DLC Drops Next Week For All Platforms

DLC for what game? Which one? Oh, THAT one.

The Scorchers, a DLC package for Rage, is scheduled to release next week on Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3. It will cost $4.99 (or 400 Microsoft Points) for all platforms, and will include a fair amount of content for the price.

For one, six new areas will be added, and with them some new story mechanics. A new weapon, the Nailgun, will be thrown into the mix to make blasting through the new areas even more fun. Additionally, a new difficulty mode called Ultra-Nightmare will be released for the hardcore players out there. You'll even be able to play beyond the ending so you can keep all of your endgame items and earn achievements.

Rage came out in October of 2011, so this DLC is a bit late, but better late than never I suppose.
