CW App Now Available On Xbox Live

Who needs exclusive first-party games when you've got an app that streams television episodes from the CW? I really hope my sarcastic tone bled through that first sentence.

Earlier today, Xbox Live received a new addition to its growing list of entertainment apps, so those looking to watch the latest episodes of shows like Nikita, Supernatural, Arrow or The Vampire Diaries, can do so all through their Microsoft-branded gaming box.

According to Variety, the latest content will be made available just 24 hours after it airs, and will include the four latest episodes of each series. Better yet, there's no additional subscription fee or pay-TV requirement. Xbox SmartGlass support will be coming in the future, with this week's episode of The Originals being the first to make use of this feature.

Are any of you going to take advantage of this application, or are you too busy acutally playing games on your Xbox? Let us know in the comments below.
