The Humble Origins Bundle, as reported earlier by Alex, has raked in over $8.6 million since its launch, smashing the $5.1 million record of the previous Humble Bundle V. The deal only lasts for four more days, ending by my watch on Wednesday, August 28th, at 11AM PST.
All proceeds toward The Humble Origins Bundle will be split between six charities—Human Rights Campaign, watsi, San Francisco AIDS Foundation, America Red Cross, GamesAid, and American Cancer Society—as the customer sees fit. Those who contribute more than dollar get Dead Space, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Mirror's Edge, Dead Space 3, and Medal of Honor.
Since the original report, the bundle has added Populous and C&C: Red Alert 3 – Uprising to the bonus package, along with Battlefield 3 and The Sims 3 + Starter Pack, for those who pay more than the average contribution which is currently at $4.86.
