Saints Row IV Outperforms Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Takes Number One Spot In UK

Open world chaos wins out, as Volition's latest entry in the Saints Row franchise blew away the competition in the UK. Ubisoft's most recent release, Splinter Cell: Blacklist made its debut in second, with Disney Infinity following close behind.

Here's the full top ten list:

  1. Saints Row IV – Koch Media
  2. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist – Ubisoft
  3. Disney Infinity – Disney Interactive Studios
  4. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition – Microsoft
  5. Call Of Duty: Black Ops II – Activision Blizzard
  6. FIFA 13 – Electronic Arts
  7. Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Nintendo
  8. Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes – Warner Bros. Interactive
  9. The Last Of Us – Sony Computer Entertainment
  10. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified – Take Two

It looks like the summer drought is finally over. Soon there will be too many awesome games hitting store shelves to keep up. As such, I suggest you take this time to dive into Saints Row IV and Blacklist before the behemoth that is Grand Theft Auto V steals all your time.
