The Fortnite Celebration Cup has been announced as an exclusive event for PS4 players of Epic Games’ mighty battle royale. Those who participate in this epic Fortnite competition will have the chance to win exclusive in-game prizes — and potentially a shot at a $1 million prize pool.
The competition will be taking place in a little less than two weeks over the Internet and during the weekend as noted on the PlayStation Blog post. The top-performing players in each region will win one of the following in-game cosmetics as noted below:

- Top 50% of players: the “Take Cover” spray
- Top 25% of players: the “Wild Accent” pickaxe
- Top 5% of players: the “Tango” outfit (seen in our header image)
These in-game cosmetics will be available to players who participate in the Fortnite Celebration Cup on Saturday, February 15, 2020. It should be noted that the tournament rules state that you will only receive the prize for the highest category you manage to reach. For example, those of you who make it into the top 5% of players will earn the Tango outfit, but you will not earn the Wild Accent pickaxe and Take Cover spray despite also qualifying for those categories.
To participate in the Fortnite Celebration Cup, players must have their Fortnite account at Level 15 and 2-Factor Authentication enabled on their Epic Games account.

The best of the best will have a shot at winning a share of the million-dollar prize pool. PS4 players will be able to participate in the Fortnite Celebration Cup starting on February 15, 2020; you can see the full prize pool split for each region below.
