Modern Warfare 2 Remastered leaks, reportedly launching this week

It looks like we might be getting the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered campaign a lot sooner than we think. Someone slipped up at the PlayStation Store and listed the game bit early, giving us insight into a likely Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered release date.

We got our first hints about this game when it was rated by PEGI not too long ago. Now, we all but have confirmation that it’s coming, and it’s set to arrive sooner than you might think.

ALSO: No, the PS5 launch date won’t be delayed

The German PlayStation Store page shows some shiny new imagery from the upgraded campaign along with some details as to the content. As one might expect, there won’t be a dedicated multiplayer mode; instead, this is just going to be the game’s campaign as a standalone file. However, it looks like multiplayer gamers will have something to look forward to.

Here’s what a machine translation says is included with the campaign:

  • UDT ghost skin
  • 2 Weapon Blueprints
  • Weapon Talisman
  • Executor
  • Prick
  • Animated Business Card
  • Emblem
  • 2 Battle Pass

Although this is the German-language PlayStation Store, a trailer with an English voiceover is also available on the store page.

If the information on this store page is accurate, it looks like we’ll be getting the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered campaign on March 31, 2020. It’s probably going to be priced at $24.99 or your regional equivalent, so put aside a few bucks now so you can get right into it!
