We got a painting and trailer, but we didn’t get to see any Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay. Although that’s about to change. Ubisoft confirmed that we will be seeing Eivor in action on May 7 around 8 AM PT during the next Inside Xbox stream.
The French company revealed this on Twitter along with what platform it will be on. Since it is launching with the next generation of systems this fall, Ubisoft has chosen to show us Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay on the Xbox Series X (which you’ll also get if you buy the Xbox One version).

Ubisoft didn’t reveal how long the gameplay trailer will be or what will be in it. It’s likely going to have some stabbing and slashing. Microsoft has also not spoken about the Inside Xbox stream so we don’t know exactly what Xbox Series X games will show up alongside Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Those games probably won’t have as many burly Vikings though.
