Rumor: Crash Bandicoot IP Returning To Sony

It appears Crash Bandicoot may be returning to Sony after having a home at Activision for many, many years. During the PSone era, the esteemed PlayStation developer Naughty Dog created Crash, a character who would go on to become the mascot for Sony's first gaming device.

Over on Reddit, a user posted the following image, which includes a snapshot from Sony's PS4 launch commercial.

As you can see, the left half of the image looks an awful lot like the right side, no? Might Sony be teasing the return of Crash exclusively on PlayStation?

Would you like to see Crash Bandicoot return to Sony's stable of first-party exclusive IPs? Which developer would be right to take on the franchise? Let us know in the comments below.
