Sunset Overdrive Won’t Use Kinect [Update: Gameplay Video]

[Update] The fine folks at Insomniac have just released a new video for their upcoming Xbox One-exclusive, Sunset Overdrive, providing a first look at its fast, fluid, and frantic gameplay.

Give it a look above and be sure to share your thoughts on the footage in the comments below.

[Original] Sunset Overdrive, the stylish post-apocalyptic action title from Insomniac Games, won't feature Kinect support in any way, shape, or fashion.

Insomniac's Marcus Smith confirmed this during a presentation of the game, saying, "This game was definitely built for a controller, not jumping around the room." As a hardcore gamer that is totally over the motion craze, I must admit, this certainly has me happy.

Sunset Overdrive is being developed exclusively for the Xbox One platform. It's open-world action style may very well end up giving the PS4-exclusive InFamous: Second Son a run for its money. Keep you fingers crossed for a 2014 release!
