The Witcher 3 Won’t Have Platform-Exclusive Content

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt won't have any platform-specific content, developer CD Projekt RED has confirmed.

Speaking with Eurogamer, company co-founder Marcin Iwinski revealed that the upcoming action RPG will "hopefully" be making an on-stage appearance during either Microsoft or Sony's E3 media briefing. However, that doesn't mean one version of the game is getting special development treatment over the others.

"We are treating all gamers equally," Iwinski explained. "We'll not deliver exclusive content to any of the platforms, nor will we artificially delay release of the game on any of the platforms because somebody's paying us money for that. It's definitely against our values. We are not doing that."

Instead, what CD Projekt is doing is "in terms of marketing cooperation," which, he teased, we'll find out more about at E3.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will launch early next year on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and, of course, PC.
