Super Smash Bros. creator and overall game industry superstar Masahiro Sakurai has confirmed that Ike will be making a triumphant return in the upcoming Wii U and 3DS entires of Nintendo's beloved fighting game series.

Diehard Nintendo fans know Ike from the Fire Emblem series, a franchise that hinges upon its deep turn-based strategy and cast of gripping characters.

This brings the grand total of confirmed Smash Bros. characters to a whopping thirty. I wonder how many more still have yet to be revealed… There's a good chance we'll get at least a few more additions announced at E3.
