Homefront 2 Revealed, Announcement Trailer Inside [Update]

[Update] Homefront: The Revolution has just been officially announced by publisher Deep Silver. It will be launching next year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The debut trailer for Crytek's upcoming FPS has been embedded below. Watch it, but try not to drool all over your keyboard, OK?

[Original] The sequel to Homefront, currently in development at Crytek, is apparently titled Homefront: The Revolution and will launch sometime in 2015—that is, according to a post on Swedish website FZ.

Along with this news, the website posted an image of the game's alleged box art, which has since been pulled. Give it a look below.

Aside from this tidbit of information, we know next to nothing about this upcoming first-person shooter. Here's to hoping Crytek and Deep Silver have lots more to share at E3 next week.
