Nintendo Shares Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS Soundtrack Ahead of Release

Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. fighting franchise will return on the company's latest gaming hardware this year (and possibly next) so in order to make the wait a little easier on fans, they've released a few musical tracks from the game.

Above, you can hear "Battle! (Trainer Battle) (Pokémon X and Pokémon Y)" arranged purposefully for Super Smash Bros. while two more tracks await here. Nintendo has also shared videos for "Full Steam Ahead (Spirit Tracks)" and "Multi-Man Smash", an original track for the game.

In total, the Nintendo 3DS version has over 35 different artists from various development studios and a wide range of backgrounds working on a bunch of beloved games from the past 10-20 years.

We'll have more on Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and for Nintendo Wii U as we get closer to launch. The Nintendo 3DS version has a confirmed release date of October 3rd, though we don't know when we'll get to play the Wii U version at home.
