Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Release Date Reportedly Leaked

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will launch on November 21st, according to a leaked photo posted by Twitter user BluesDriveBuster.

The image, taken of a reservation card from Fred Meyer for the game, boasts a large "11/21/2014," but also mentions in smaller font that the release date is "subject to change."

If this launch date truly is accurate and the game is coming out November 21st, that means two of Nintendo's biggest games of the fall will be releasing on the very same day, as Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are set to arrive on the 21st as well.

It's worth noting that a move like this isn't unprecedented for Nintendo, as just last year the company released Super Mario 3D World and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds on the same day. That said, Nintendo has yet to make any official announcement regarding the release date for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, so we'll have to treat this as mere rumor for the time being.
