Super Smash Bros. for 3DS Sells Over One Million

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS surpassed one million in sales during its opening weekend in Japan, Nintendo has announced.

This figure takes into account both copies sold at retail and digitally through Nintendo's eShop. In addition, the Big N confirmed that a whopping one million physical units of the game have been shipped to stores.

A demo for Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is currently available to select Club Nintendo members and a handful of their friends. The demo will go public in just a few days on the 19th for all gamers who own Nintendo's handheld device.

Will you be picking up the first ever handheld iteration of Smash Bros. when it arrives on October 3rd?
