GameStop Revamps PowerUp Rewards

GameStop will be enhancing the perks from the PowerUp Rewards card, you know, that piece of plastic that their employees ask you about every time you walk up to the register. For a yearly fee, you already receive 10% off pre-owned games and 10% additional credit for most trade-ins. But now, PowerUp Rewards Pro members will be getting a bit extra.

On the receipt for PowerUp Pro members will be a Buy 2, Get 1 Free coupon that's valid for the next transaction and must be used within 90 days. GameStop also promises at least $50 in monthly offers that will require a coupon.

If you're looking for how to spend your PowerUp Rewards points (have you even checked?), I suggest the Critical Hit d20 Ice Mold (7,800 points), Firefly Star Trucker Cap (11,480), ThinkGeek Beach Boy Towel (11,400), and if you've got a lot saved up, the Portal 2 80s Messenger Bag (42,500).
