Luigi’s Death Stare Is Making A Comeback With Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

It's been three years since Luigi's Death Stare first set fire to the world of viral gifs. That mere fact makes a lot of us feel old, as if time has passed by like a Bullet Bill. But it also reminds us of a fun week of memes and laughter that celebrated Mario Kart 8's original launch on the Wii U.

That might be a time long passed, but Nintendo's release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Switch has resurrected a world where Luigi looks like a bored gang member at a family fun center. With a massive new audience now being brought into the world of Mario Kart 8, and share functionality being even more accessible, there are tons of new Luigi Death Stare gifs waiting to happen.
