With the Hinomi H2 Pro, the company is looking to build upon the success of the H1 Pro by adding more adjustability, better materials, and a sturdier frame. There’s also the option for a footrest. For those who are looking for comfort, without sacrificing ergonomics, the H2 Pro seems promising. After using it for two weeks in the office, it’s time for my review.
19 adjustment points!
After building the H2 Pro by following the thankfully relatively simple instructions, it’s time to take advantage of the 19 adjustment points. Sure, it takes some time, but fine-tuning this chair to fit exactly your body is part of the appeal. Adjust everything just right and you should end up with both top-tier ergonomics and comfort.
A highlight of the adjustability is the improved lumbar support. In addition to moving up and down, this advanced lumbar support moves with the user as they tilt. This really is a game-changer when it comes to keeping back pain away and posture in check.
The armrests are another standout feature, as they can be rotated and tilted, as well as moving backwards and forwards. I found this additional personalization very valuable when moving from sitting upright to using the recline — up to a generous 143 degrees — when my arms are positioned in a significantly different way.
Upgraded comfort

After sitting in the H2 Pro for my first workday, I found myself extremely appreciative of the mesh material being used. While it’s breathable and lightweight, it still oozes quality. Combined with the aluminium alloy frame, the H2 Pro feels like quality while also being comfortable.
During that first day, I found myself making a few adjustments to various aspects of the chair. Again, it’s likely going to take some fine-tuning before users feel that they’ve hit the sweet spot, but it’s worth it when it all clicks together.
The additional footrest is welcome and can work well, but it is of a lower quality to the rest of the chair, which makes it stand out as the “weak point.” With that said, it’s only a $40 add-on, so it’s important to keep those expectations in mind. Ultimately, it gets the job done.
Premium ergonomics come at a cost
When it comes to other complaints, I think the main issue for many will be price. While the H2 Pro gets almost everything perfect in terms of quality and features, it is priced at a premium which puts it up against well-known competitors in the ergonomic office chair space. I fear that at RRP, the H2 Pro may struggle.

Final Verdict
At $759, the Hinomi H2 Pro is a premium chair that delivers on most fronts. With excellent build quality, impressive adjustability, and solid comfort, it’s clearly designed for those who take ergonomics seriously. The price and a few minor drawbacks may deter some, but overall, it’s a strong option for anyone seeking a high-end ergonomic upgrade.
