Apex Legends 1.06 update

Apex Legends 1.06 Update Patch Notes | New Apex Legends update adds squad up and crash notifications,

The Apex Legends 1.06 update has just gone live on PS4, Xbox One, and PC and, with everything screwing up, you’re probably wondering what’s included in the Apex Legends 1.06 update patch notes that’s made everything go topsy-turvy. Unfortunately, that’s another issue entirely, but the new Apex Legends update (otherwise known as the Apex Legends 1.1 update), brings about a fair few changes, including a squad up feature, notifcations for crash fixes, and more. It’s all down below in our look at April’s Apex Legends update.

Squad Up

Praise be to Respawn! The “squad up” feature, which allows you to join recent players in future games of Apex Legends is now available. To access it, simply go back to the lobby after a game and you’ll see the IDs of your last two squadmates waiting for you to invite them for another round. Pretty neat.

Crash without error notifications

Apex Legends has a tendency to crash for no real reason. However, with the Apex Legends 1.06 update, that should be a thing of the past. Sure, it’s not a complete blanket fix for crashes, but it’s better than nothing. You’ll now be shown the reason(s) why your game has crashed, which should help you better pinpoint the issue and what you need to do to ensure it doesn’t happen again. It’s better than nothing, let me tell you.

Bug fixes

If your banner card wasn’t showing up during an Apex Legends match then you’ll be pleased to know that’s now been fixed. Elsewhere, those crazy lot on consoles who wish to use a keyboard won’t encounter a fatal script error thanks to the recent update. Finally, Octane’s Ultimate, which previously interrupted Wraith’s Into the Void Ultimate with its Jump Pad, has had that ability taken away entirely. That makes for a far less frustrating and trollworthy experience. Swings and roundabouts, I suppose.
