COD WW2 Zombies Brenner

CoD WW2 Nazi Zombies Brenner Head: What Does it Do?

Call of Duty WW2 Zombies continues the series’ tradition of weird items that lead to secrets and easter eggs. One of these items, the Brenner Head, might just seem like a goofy melee weapon when you first pick it up. However, you can use it to help you unlock the easter egg in the casual path of CoD WW2 Zombies, and it’s essential for upgrading the Tesla Gun. While it’s not apparent at first, the Brenner Head will help highlight secrets in Nazi Zombies, but first, you have to learn how to get ahold of it. Below we show you how to get the Brenner head in CoD WW2 Zombies and how to use it to discover secrets.

How to Get the Brenner Head in CoD WW2 Zombies

To get your hands on a Brenner Head in Nazi Zombies you’ll have to find a Brenner. On The Final Reich map, you’ll find Brenner naturally during the level. They’re the big flamethrower-armed zombies, and you’ll need to kill one of them and pick up its head.

You can find the special zombie in the Command Room. Once it’s dead, its head will fall off, and you can pick it up.

What Does the Brenner Head do in CoD WW2 Zombies?

It’s not apparent at first how to use the Brenner Head in CoD WW2 Zombies, but it’s not that complicated. This item acts as a sort of flashlight for finding secrets in the game. To use the Brenner Head, just hold down the aim button, and it will shine a purple light on hidden objects and easter eggs.

Where Do I Use the Brenner Head in CoD WW2 Zombies?

There are two areas in Zombies you need to use the Brenner Head.

Painting Puzzle

In The Final Reich map, you must use it on the casual path on four paintings. You can find the pictures in these locations:

  • The Courtyard: Across from the Lee Enfield Purchase Station
  • The Mortuary: Near the boards.
  • The Pub: Inside, can’t miss it.
  • The Sewers: On the left of the Pack-a-Punch machine.

When you shine the eerie light of the Brenner Head on each painting, you’ll see a secret code.

After you get all the codes, head to the machine near the Barbarossa Statue. There are four swords, and each has a bird engraving. You can interact with the swords to change the number displayed on them. Input the correct bird and number combos from the paintings and then hit the red button near the machine.

Upgrade the Tesla Gun to Midnight Version

After you complete the Lightning Rod quest, you can accomplish the following.

You have to use the Brenner Head in the Courtyard on the statue, and it will break. In the rubble, you’ll find a battery. You can shoot the battery to power it, then you’ll need to take it to the nearby battery holder. Once it’s in place, kill a bunch of zombies in the area and feed souls to the battery.

Once the battery is full of souls, you can take it to the Laboratory and insert it into the machine. Then, you’ll need to kill more zombies and feed the battery more souls. After you’ve completed that you’ll get a part for your Tesla Gun. You can then head back to the Control Room and use the part with the table you found the Tesla Gun at to craft the Midnight version of the weapon.
