2010 GR Awards: Best Playstation Move Game

Posted on Thursday, December 23 @ 11:37:46 Eastern by

I somehow found my way into the unfortunate position of reviewing a ton of motion games this year. I've kung-fu'd my way around the office, pet invisible animals, and generally looked like a fool. All this new technology really makes us look like idiots, didn't you know?

Still, I can't help but think back fondly to Sports Champions for the Playstation 3 Move controller. As an introduction to Sony's new motion-tech, Sports Champions is a complete package. While it's less-than-traditional sports mix might seem antithetical to Wii Sports, each activity is designed around showcasing different aspects of the Move hardware.

Plus, Gladiator battle is just so much fun. Kicking virtual ass and taking generic, virtual names never gets tired. Of course, it does remind us how out of shape we are. Here's hoping there's something to working out with video games.

Runners-Up (in alphabetical order) - EyePet, Get Fit With Mel B, Start The Party, Tumble
