Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

$109 Ouya Open For Pre-Orders On Its Website

Posted on Thursday, August 9 @ 14:38:20 Eastern by

With the Ouya now completely funded via Kickstarter, the company is now accepting $109 pre-orders off its minimalist official website.

The $109 package ($10 extra if you live in international waters) comes with a console and one controller. Each additional controller costs an additional $30, with a 2-controller package at $139.99 and a 4-controller package at $199.99.

If you're wondering why the $109 is above the original $99 price tag, the extra $10 will go to shipping. The expected delivery is April 2013 for this next-gen...

Wait, do I consider the Ouya a next-gen console? Huh... Do you?

Console generations are defined by release date. So yes, Ouya is a next gen console. The question is whether it's worth it. Based on what I've seen so far, it isn't. It's basically just a smart phone tethered to your TV set, which means it has all the disadvantages of a smart phone (in terms of being a gaming platform) and none of the benefits (**IT ISN'T PORTABLE**). It's also going to scare off most big-name developers due to being strictly free-to-play, *and* being so easy to hack (i.e. easy piracy).

Unless I'm completely off-base and none of this comes to pass, I doubt I'll get one of these.
