Former God of War Director Joins Forces With Crytek

Todd Papy, the game director behind God of War: Ascension, is now working over at Crytek.

His departure from Sony Santa Monica was made known last month, but the reasoning behind his parting of ways with the studio was a mystery at the time. Now, the secrecy has been squashed. According to Papy's LinkedIn page, he's “working on an unannounced project" for Crytek as game director.

Perhaps a Ryse sequel is already in the works? Considering Papy's past experience with the God of War franchise, one would naturally think he'd make a nice fit on such a project. For more information on what's next for Papy and Crytek, keep it locked to GameRevolution.
