ToeJam & Earl Making a Comeback

That's funked up!

Writing on Facebook, the 1991 Sega Genesis classic and sleeper hit ToeJam & Earl, based on two alien rappers who accidentally crash land into the Earth, will be receiving another entry, reminding people that the developers haven't posted much "because we've gotten really busy with the new TJ&E."

They'll be ready to make an official announcement sometime in 3 or 4 weeks, when they'll "be able to share lots of information." In the meantime, they have posted a trio of art pieces with the titular characters.

The original game was re-released on the Wii's Virtual Console in 2006 as well as the PSN and Xbox Live Arcade in 2012.
