Halo: Nightfall Coming to DVD, Blu-ray Next Month

Ready your wallets, Spartans! Microsoft has announced that the DVD and Blu-ray versions of its "digital feature" Halo: Nightfall will be hitting retailers on March 17.

Both the DVD and Blu-ray releases will feature 35 minutes of bonus behind-the-scenes content; however, only the Blu-ray version includes 45 additional minutes of exclusive "second story" footage. Meanwhile, the DVD version has an extra 17 minutes of similar content.

As one would expect, Halo: Nightfall's price will differ depending on format, with the DVD version priced at $20.99 and the Blu-ray copy at $24.99.

Those who own Halo: The Master Chief Collection already have access to a digital version of Nightfall, which aired to relatively lukewarm critical reception. Did you enjoy the Ridley Scott-produced live-action series? Did it leave you hyped for Halo 5: Guardians?
