Report: Batman Arkham Remasters Coming to PS4, Xbox One

The current-gen remasters just keep coming, and it appears the Batman Arkham series may join the club soon. According to a report from IGN Italy (via CraveOnline), Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City are being remastered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

A source also claims Batman: Arkham Origins will not be part of the remastered collection. Whereas the first two games were developed by Rocksteady Studios, Origins was created by the team at Warner Bros. Games Montreal.

The report doesn't give a specific release window, but it does say the remastered games will come out by this Christmas. Rocksteady Studios has yet to make any official announcements or respond to the story.

This news comes just months before the release of Batman: Arkham Knight, which was delayed again until June 23.
