Walmart’s Mistake Can Be Your Cheaper Xbox 360

Did you happen to see your local Walmart flyer in the Sunday paper? There's a new "rollback" price on the Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Bundle, bringing the price to $249.99 – which happens to be the same price as the freshly discounted PlayStation 3.

At first, this would seem like a move from Microsoft to counter any surge in PlayStation 3 sales, but Microsoft says that Walmart "made an independent decision to implement this temporary price cut". Walmart says, they just plain fucked up and it was an error. However, they're honoring the "rollback" price until September 5th or until supplies last.

If you're in the market for a new Xbox 360 with Kinect, go take advantage of Walmart's misfortune.
