Dark Souls 3 Will Have 2 DLC Expansions According to Leaked Season Pass

Fans of Souls games will have plenty of reason to head back into Dark Souls 3 long after they've completed their harrowing adventure thanks to confirmed post-launch DLC.

The Australian Xbox Store has mistakenly posted information regarding Dark Souls 3's upcoming DLC prior to an official announcement by FromSoftware. The page includes information about a season pass which says the following:

Expand your DARK SOULS™ III experience with the Season Pass and gain access to 2 epic DLC packs at a discounted price. Challenge yourself with new maps, bosses, enemies and additional weapon and armor sets. DARK SOULS™ III game required; sold separately.

As detailed above, the DLC will include weapons, armor, bosses, and other additions that FromSoftware fans have come to expect. No release date for the DLC has been provided, although in the past it's taken around six months for the first package to drop for games released by this particular developer.

It was announced yesterday that the Xbox One will support backward compatibility for the first Dark Souls, a game which will be included for free with pre-orders of Dark Souls 3.

Dark Souls 3 continues in the footsteps of the series with punishing mechanics that test the patience and pattern reading of even the most devoted RPG fans. It will take inspiration from Bloodborne in an effort to provide more means for building characters, and providing an enthralling world that captivates its audience.
