E3 2016: These Are The 15 VR Games At E3 You Need To Know About

2016 is the year of VR. With Oculus Rift and HTC Vive already on the market, and PSVR looking to bring the technology to mainstream this October, E3 2016 has naturally become a haven for VR announcements and showcases.

There are a large handful of VR games present at this year's E3. Not all of them are created equal. Below, we'll go over the 15 that you need to know about.

    rnSo, when Bethesda announced that it'll add VR support to DOOM in a future update, it's no surprise that fans were overcome with joy. After all, AAA experiences in VR are just about non-existent currently. Bethesda plans to change that.

Visually, it's quite spectacular. It will be provided alongside the release of Final Fantasy XV this September offering PSVR early adopters to try out their new hardware with something crafted by a big publisher.

  • Fallout 4

    rnDescription: Games don't get much bigger than Fallout 4. Without VR, it's an engrossing game with hundreds of hours of story to dive into. With VR, it draws you into its post-apocalyptic world as you are able to enjoy the entire game from start to finish. Since VR support is being added post-launch there are currently some issues with UI navigation being finicky, but Bethesda is committed to making it a fulfilling experience. This could end up being the first killer app of VR with high play value, so keep your eye on it.

  • Farpoint

It's been said that it's incredibly life-like and allows Star Trek fans to live out their fantasy.
