Saitek Is Now Owned By Logitech

The Saitek brand is well known among flight and space sim enthusiasts for its high quality game controllers. In recent years it has held majority market share of the flight stick peripheral market with a catalog of just under a dozen products.

Logitech sees even greater potential in the brand, and has invested $13 million to acquire the company. This will include the control of product patents, trademarks, and thousands of employees.

The best selling products from Saitek include the X52 Pro Flight System Controller as well as unique instrument panels that have made it a top tier solution for a niche market.

Saitek was previously owned by Madcatz. With this move it will now only own Joytech and Gameshark.
