VGA Reveals Already Lined Up for Next Month’s Award Show

Spike has announced its short lists for the annual Video Game Awards show, the ceremony that gives real gamers a chance to laugh at all the bull shit awards it seems like publishers paid off the producers for. With two out of the 5 game of the year nominees not even out yet, it might be time to start laughing now.

The show also promises to reveal more on Metal Gear Solid: Rising with a world premiere, a new project from the developers behind Mass Effect and a brand new adventure starring Alan Wake. I'm sure more will make its way to the high-priced advertising extravagaanza, especially considering it'll be aired on MTV2 this year as well.

Portal 2

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
