3DS Circle Pad Has Outstanding Battery Life

I can't stand the idea of having to buy an add-on accessory to get the most out of my 3DS and its games. But that's a reality I'm going to have to face eventually. Knowing it's inevitable, I try to look on the bright side: The Nintendo 3DS Circle Pad Pro attachement lasts longer than Stride gum.

Initial reports from Japan claim that the Circle Pad add-on has roughly 480 hours of battery life on one single AAA battery. Which is good, because you're going to need a screwdriver to change the battery—and we don't trust you with tools.
