GameStop Says Be An A-Hole Boyfriend, Play Twisted Metal

I tend to go to video game stores quite a bit. That's why I've got a Powerup Rewards card to GameStop. A deal is a deal! I'll take one where I can get one.

Still, I think I'll stick to the video games with GameStop. I got the e-mail above today, telling me how to act in my relationship. The subject read "Send her flowers so you can game!" I have a feeling I'll be gaming for quite some time after the flowers:

Thank your lucky stars that when you pre-order Twisted Metal, you'll receive $10 off an order from 1-800-Flowers.com! It's a simple solution to that age-old question: game or girlfriend?

Because a gamer couldn't possibly have both…. The key to being in a relationship? Take time away from your hobby, at least on a few days out of the year. Can you manage to leave Twisted Metal in the shrink-wrap long enough so you can take your girl out to dinner? That's the real question. Apparently GameStop doesn't think so.
