Need for Speed Payback Demonstrates Impressive Action Cutscenes and Graphics

Need for Speed Payback was the third game EA talked about during its EA Play conference.

The presenter emphasized that customization will be a focus of the game, allowing visual and performance-affecting alterations of every vehicle, similar to the Need for Speed released in 2015. In addition, a full narrative will be presented with exciting in-game cutscenes that are reminiscent of The Fast and the Furious films.

During the demonstration the player was shown driving a Ford Mustang GT at high speeds down a desert freeway. Violent crashes and fast acceleration were shown before a cutscene cut to the player stealing a supercar from the back of a truck and driving away.
