This Week’s Game Releases: Vampyr, Onrush, The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset and More

This week will see the launch of a bunch of games that seem destined to become cult classics. Vampyr, the latest release from Life Is Strange developer DONTNOD Entertainment, hopes to make players feel like they’re a vampire by way of giving them difficult choices to make, such as “will I suck this nice man’s blood and murder him?” On the other hand, Onrush provides fast-paced thrills where you can chuck your brain out of the window, with you slamming into rivals in its Burnout-inspired madcap car combat.

Vampyr release date game releases

Vampyr places players in a gothic, Victorian-era London, with you taking control of a vampire who can choose to either be “savior or stalker.” It’s being touted as one of the most convincing vampire games to date, allowing players to decide what kind of blood-sucker they’re going to be. Are you going to go all Blade or Interview with a Vampire? The choice is yours!

Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Onrush Release Date: June 5 – Buy it Now

game releases onrush

Onrush is a new arcade racer from the team behind MotorStorm Apocalypse, one of the most thrilling racing games from the previous console generation. Teaming tracks with multiple routes with takedown-focused gameplay a la Burnout, this is an incredibly unique deviation from its genre’s formula, doing away with racing entirely in favor of ramming your opponents into scenery and turning them into shrapnel.

Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset Release Date: June 5 – Buy it Now
