Nintendo Power Goes Retro With Its Final Issue

The very last issue of Nintendo Power will be hitting newsstands in just a few days, and its cover art is totally awesome. Check out the old-school style that was clearly inspired by the publication's first issue.



For reference, here's the cover of the very first issue, which was released all the way back in 1988.

 


Seeing that final cover bring things full circle makes me a little sad, as it's finally starting to settle in that there will never be another issue of Nintendo Power.
