Unlock the Cave of Trials
To unlock this secret dungeon you must use the save point right before you fight Gabriel. Your save icon should turn blue. Return to the arena in Fun City, and talk to the old man in the stands on the north side of the arena. He'll say he can recover your memories; accept, and you'll return to Arlia on Expel. Leave Arlia and you'll have your Psynard. The Cave Of Trials is located at the lone dot on the desert island, southwest on the world map.
Unlockable Difficulty Modes

Unlock Voice Players
To unlock the voice player you must beat the game on any difficulty setting. Additional characters in your party will have their respective voices unlocked.
No Random Encounters
Much like the first Star Ocean for PSP, when you're in a dungeon or cave, you can open the UMD tray, or take the UMD out, and not deal with random encounters. If you're coming up on a boss fight though make sure to put the UMD back in before you initiate the battle.
