What Are You Playing? October 10th, 2018

It’s officially the most frightening month of the year, but even though Halloween is around the corner, we’re more terrified by the fact we’re still having to wait for Red Dead Redemption 2. Seriously, hurry up already! In the meantime, here are the games the GR team has been playing this week. Tell us what YOU have been playing in the comments section below!

Paul Tamburro: I’ve been playing WWE 2K19. As per usual, I’ve created an absolute monstrosity and have taken him to the top of the mountain. Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, and AJ Styles are no match for Hardballs, a WWE Universal Champion who looks like he belongs anywhere other than this universe.

Jason Faulkner: Previewing Fallout 76 got me in the mood for some Fallout 4 so I’ve been dabbling in that off and on. I’ve also been playing through AC Odyssey, which is a ton of fun. I’ve spent most of my time this week though recovering from a cold and sitting in a DayQuil-induced haze.

David Lozada: Now that it’s actually fall by me, I decided to get myself into the Halloween spirit by popping in my copy of Alien: Isolation and immediately loading up my save in the nest. That was a wrong move as now facehuggers haunt me in my sleep. I should’ve just played Costume Quest or something.

Alleef Ashaari: Still playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey after completing the main story. Exploring Greek islands, and finishing the sprawling side quests, make for a massive post-game undertaking of epic proportions. Kassandra’s journey won’t be ending anytime soon for me.

Tyler Treese: I recently hooked my Xbox One back up, and I’ve been playing Sea of Thieves with some friends of mine. It’s a total blast, and Rare has continually improved upon the game since release. It’s one of the best “hangout” games I’ve played in years. I’m also trying to get into Forza Horizon 4, but I might just go back to the Hot Wheels expansion for the last game instead since that seems more interesting than driving around Great Britain (you’re fired – British Ed.).
