Black Ops 4 Death of Orion

Black Ops 4 Death of Orion Location

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out now, and players are already trying to get every secret, achievement, and trophy. But there’s one secret that’s puzzling all players right now, and that’s Death of Orion, which is supposedly hidden in one of the maps of the game’s Zombies mode. Just what is the Black Ops 4 Death of Orion location, and why do you need it? We’ll do our best to answer.

Black Ops 4 Death of Orion – What Is It and Where Is It?

There is a lot of mystery surrounding Death of Orion. We know that it’s definitely a weapon, and it has a charged shot power. It’s also supposed to be on the IX level of the Black Ops 4 Zombies mode, at the very least. The trouble is that no one has actually found the Death of Orion weapon as of yet. It’s possible it will be patched in or activated as part of an event, or shortly after launch.

It’s very probable that the Death of Orion is one of the new Wonder Weapons, which have always featured in the Zombies mode of Treyarch’s Call of Duty entries, starting with Call of Duty: World at War. These Wonder Weapons are incredibly powerful weapons that are exclusive to a single map. It therefore stands to reason that Death of Orion is the Wonder Weapon for the IX map… it’s just not turned on yet.

Why Do You Need Death of Orion?

There is an achievement/trophy tied to both Death of Orion and the IX Zombies map which cannot be otherwise unlocked without the weapon. It’s called “Constellation Prize,” and it requires players “to kill nine zombies with a single uncharged shot from the Death of Orion.” This makes the weapon sound incredibly powerful, but of course none of that matters if players can’t actually get it. Guess we’ll have to wait to get this particular achievement…
