PlayStation 4 Reportedly Uses Gaikai, New Social Features

The torrent of next-gen-related reports continue, this time from Japanese newspaper Nikkei, which claims that the PlayStation 4 will in fact utilize Sony's recently acquired cloud gaming service, Gaikai.

The outlet doesn't specify how we'll see it implemented; however, the claims don't end there, as the console is said to feature expanded social options, including the ability to share opinions with your friends while gaming. Sounds an awful lot like Nintendo's Miiverse, no?

And as expected, the PS4 allegedly won't have a "Cell" chip (duh) and will be out sometime this holiday season (duh again). These sound like safe bets to me. What do you think? Could these reports prove to be true? Continue the conversation in the comments below.
