It appears that Retro Studios, the development team behind Donkey Kong Country Returns for the Wii currently has bigger fish to fry, as the 3DS remake will be handled by Monster Games, the studio responsible for Pilotwings Resort.
This new comes by way of the Australian Classification Board, and leaves us wondering what exactly the guys are Retro Studios are currently up to. Considering how thin the Wii U's library of games is at the moment, one would think that they're working on the console's unannounced killer app.
Does the lack of Retro's involvement in Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D have you concerned about the quality of the final product, or are you confident in the abilities of Monster Games? After all, it's basically just a port… How hard can it really be?
