Anime Awards 2018 presenter

Anime Awards 2018 presenter lineup revealed

With the event just over a week away, Crunchyroll has revealed the Anime Awards 2018 presenter lineup for this year’s event celebrating the best of the best over the last year in the medium.

According to Twinfinite, the lineups were revealed in a press release on February 7 and reveal a litany of popular anime celebrities and notable individuals from the community that will be attending the ceremony.

Notable attendees include Ryan Potter, who recently featured as Beast Boy in DC’s new Titans show, and hosts from Rooster Teeth, such as Miles Luna and Yssa Badiola. Senior Editor of IGN and Anime superfan, Miranda Sanchez, will also be presenting an award.

See below for the full lists of attendees:

The Anime Awards 2018 saw My Hero Academia racking up notable awards. The second season superhero-inspired anime acquired the awards for Best Opening, Best Acting, and Best Animation. However, Kinema Citrus’ Made in Abyss pipped My Hero Academia to the big award of the night for Anime of the Year.

The Anime Awards haven’t always gone off without a hitch. In 2017, the 2016 Anime Awards were accused of vote-rigging when some Crunchyroll fans were angered by the results [via AnimeUKNews].

The Anime Awards 2018 will be showcased on February 16. More information about the live event itself can be found here on ShowClix. We’ve also got a round-up of anime from the end of last year if you are looking to catch up before the event.
