Could Climax Be Working On The Next Prince Of Persia? [Update: Just A Prototype]

[Update]: It appears that the images posted on Climax Studios' website were from a prototype of a new Prince of Persia title, but Ubisoft never moved forward with the project. 

"The screenshots in question are from a prototype we decided to create last year during exploratory discussions we had with Ubisoft. This never went any further," Climax CEO Simon Gardner told Eurogamer. 

[Original Story]: Climax Studios is working on a new unannounced project, and screenshots for the title have made their way to the company's website (first outted by NeoGAF). Is it just me, or do these images look a whole heck of a lot like they're from a new Prince of Persia game?

Game Informer reached out to Ubisoft regarding the striking similarities between the two, to which the publisher replied: "There is no new information to share in regard to Prince of Persia." Perhaps they're gearing up for a big reveal at E3…
